Open design spaces and hands-on learning are critical elements of a modern engineering education. The College of Engineering has completed a master space plan that identifies the necessity to renovate labs and classrooms, creating new space that meets these needs and supports the modern learning experience in an environment that facilitates the team approach to learning and research.
Fostering the cross-disciplinary research that drives new technologies and enhances the UW’s tradition of excellence, the College of Engineering Buildings and Grounds Fund will help to create and spur innovation. In addition, the fund helps the college stay nimble and keep pace with its peers.
Together, with the support of alumni and friends, these future structures will house future leaders and professionals. And as every engineer knows there’s power in numbers. So help to strengthen and support talented and promising students, and maintain the college’s tradition of excellence.
