Beyond Classroom Learning This past fall, the College of Agricultural & Life Sciences (CALS) welcomed an all-time high of 3,525 undergraduate students back to campus. And these students welcomed the opportunity to earn a UW-Madison degree that will enable them to succeed in their personal and professional lives. However, the cost of tuition and the expenses associated with valuable, out-of-classroom experiences present challenges, especially in a time of rising enrollment. Your support will: Help students participate in cutting-edge research initiatives that create practical solutions to real-world problems. Support students in independent study, internships, and study-abroad programs — all designed to better prepare them for life after the UW. Ensure that today’s students remain ahead of the curve by preparing them academically and socially to address modern issues in our ever-changing world. More than ever, the financial support of dedicated alumni, donors, and friends is essential to providing a first-class educational experience. Every gift equips students with the tools to become the next generation of leaders and visionaries who’ll make important impacts in our workplaces, homes, and communities.
